Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the feet and also lower legs. Thai foot massage is both invigorating and deeply relaxing and involves hands on massage, stretching and acupressure to stimulate reflex points. It has elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Chinese massage, incorporated into the treatment. Traditional Thai Foot Massage includes the use of a traditional Thai foot massage stick as well as using the palms, fingers, thumbs and knuckles to work the feet.

The Treatment includes working on ‘Sen’ lines, which are the equivalent to the meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The techniques of Thai Foot Massage are thought to stimulate and open these energy channels, leaving you feeling relaxed, balanced and invigorated. Great for tired feet.

Sports Massage   1 hour £80.00

A form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue, it helps alleviate stress and tension that builds during physical activity. It also helps to assist in correcting problems and imbalance in the body’s soft tissue caused by repetitive, strenuous physical activity or trauma.
Massage can quickly and effectively breakdown stubborn knots, and help prevent those niggling injuries that so often get in the way of performance.

Sports massage tends to be a deeper therapy that focuses on realigning the deep layers of muscle and connective tissue. Using some of the same techniques as classic massage therapy the movement is slower, more intense with deeper pressure and concentrates on areas of tension and pain in order to reach the sub-layer of muscles and fascia.

Our  ITEC Dip, MSTA therapist uses a combination of techniques involving effleurage, petrissage, frictioning, stripping, compression, stretching and trigger point response.

Maintenance Massage
   1 hour £80.00

A massage that takes place in between training sessions, working on specific elements and tissue structures, which have become shortened, tight and painful. The idea is to loosen off tightness within soft tissue thereby improving performance and preventing injury. It is a very helpful regular addition to any training program – particularly if you’re training for an endurance event such as a half or full marathon.

Injury Treatment
  1 hour £80.00

Sports massage can also be used to treat specific soft tissue injuries and a wide variety of techniques and methods are used to reduce recovery time and help get you back to peak performance. Common ailments that benefit greatly from massage are:

• Tennis elbow
• Golfer’s elbow
• Plantar fasciitis
• Shin splints
• Ankle sprains
• Pulled or strained muscles

Pre-event Sports Massage
1 hour £80.00

A massage aimed to get the body and tissue ready for the upcoming event.
It will help you run the race in a more focused way and help ward off injury by preparing muscles and joints for the task ahead. As the name suggests it is best practised just before an event and the massage is performed at a fast, brisk pace (although not too deep) to get your muscles ready.

Post Event Sports Massage
 1 hour £80.00

A sports massage after a race is a great way to ease fatigued and tired tissue and prevent DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). The pace of this massage is slow, rhythmical and gentle.
