Line Relaxing Injections

Also known as muscle relaxing injections and synonymous with the term Botox TM.  These are the simplest and most effective treatment for forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet around the eyes. It can also contour and lift, raising brows for example.  Botox is also an ideal preventative. It helps to prevent fine lines from developing.

Additional areas such as the mouth, neck and chin can also be treated where indicated.

Botox is derived from a bacteria called Clostridium Botulinum which when injected into facial muscles blocks nerve transmission to the muscle so preventing it from pulling on the overlying skin. This results in smoothing of lines and wrinkles to give a fresh rejuvenated look.

The Procedure

This starts with an initial consultation with Dr Puri who will assess your general health along with other factors to ensure it is safe for you to have the treatment,she will also offer a custom skin care assessment and programme.

Treatment itself involves a series of tiny painless injections to the relevant areas. The smallest and finest needles are used for a comfortable and painless experience.

It can take 1-2 weeks to notice the full effects of the treatment though many people notice an improvement as early as 3-4 days. On average treatments last from 3-6 months.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance in our skin that gives structure and volume.

The fillers are smooth gels that are injected just under the skin to achieve smoothing of lines and wrinkles, facial contouring, lip enhancement and cheek sculpting.

No skin testing is needed because the products are of natural origin. The results are seen immediately, you can expect a fresh faced, revived and youthful look.  Fillers on average last 6-12 months depending on the area treated and the type of filler used.
